A machine train (power train or multiple drive units) is three or more units with rotating shafts connected to each other. Aligning a machine train can be a cumbersome task with a large risk for making time consuming errors. In many cases, one or more of the machines are affected by thermal growth, and to obtain a precision alignment you need to compensate for that. Using the Fixturlaser XA expansion kit for machine trains, you can perform a precision alignment of machine trains.
The Fixturlaser Machine TrainXA application software with the Fixturlaser XA system, will provide you with:
Express start up and measurement - with compensation for thermal offset
- Possible to insert the whole machine configuration in advance. Can be saved for future measurements.
- Insert name or machine ID for each machine.
- Insert target values to compensate for dynamic effects.
- The Express mode can be used when measuring.

- The result screen shows both horizontal and vertical view.
- The color guiding informs if machines are in or out of tolerance.
- The “Minimal moves function” automatically chooses the best reference; machine, which is illustrated on the screen. Reference machine can also be selected manually.
- Full result display, horizontal and vertical, is shown directly.
